Meet Bubba!

Meet Bubba! Bubba is a 3-5 year old veteran of the streets that was so hungry he shoved his body into a kitten trap to get some food. Despite clearly being a tough guy on the streets, he is sweet as can be and let us poke around in his teeth, ears, draw blood without complaint, and even was a polite gentleman as I clipped his nails.

He graduated from his quarantine of several weeks that is the smart protocol when a street cat has open wounds to rule out rabies.

He tested negative for FELV, but positive for FIV. FIV is a virus he probably got in an open wound scuffle on the streets. He can live a happy life with other cats, but is just a bit more susceptible to colds and infections as his immune system is suppressed. Bubba is happy to be off the streets and only has interest in chin scratches, naps and food. Bubba is available for adoption.
